After an addition this yard was a dirt pile and in need of work. The homeowner sought a natural aesthetic that felt like it had always been there and that would compliment a gardening hobby. For the patios and walkways and steps we used irregular bluestone, shaping and puzzling the stones using a unique method so that they fit tightly without any unnatural, saw cut lines.

The stairs were built with the scrap stone and cutoffs from the patio and mortared in place. The treads: select stones from the same batch as the patio.
