A large addition to this house warranted the need to re-grade for drainage and make use of a large quantity of fieldstone. Select boulders were used to create a dry stream bed that serves to collect water, and the remaining stone was used for walls along the property line.
Materials on-site were used to greatly reduce costs to the homeowner, and further value was added to the property and costs saved by making use of the scrap stone along the property lines instead of trucking away. An old composted leaf pit was found during the project which we were able to dig up and use as topsoil for the new lawn to reduce trucking and material costs further.
We are always pleased to stay creative and flexible in order to make use of existing conditions in order save time and money for our clients.
